The home of John and Andre Roberts at at 1324 N. Cottonwood is recognized as the February, 2013 Yard of the Month. The Roberts provided the following:
Having lived in the Reservation for over 17 years, when the time came for John’s mother, Betty Roberts, to move in with André and John Roberts, they didn’t want to live anywhere else so they expanded their residence at the corner of Cottonwood and Navaho. A bedroom with a private entrance was attached to the original master bedroom to create a small suite for Betty and a second story was added with a new master suite, living area, office and wet bar. The construction took about four months and finished just before the family started arriving for Christmas. Quite a present, indeed.
