The home of Ben and Pam Kirkland at at 1301 Chippewa is recognized as the November 2012 Yard of the Month. The Kirklands provided the following:
We have lived at this residence since 1999. We chose the Reservation for the family atmosphere and the schools. Our daughter attended Mohawk, North and Pearce. We have been renovating our home, both inside and out, over the last year. Our latest addition was the front entry and door, painting the exterior, new gutters, replacing and staining some of the fence, as well as adding stone flower bed footers in the front and along the side. We made the improvements to our home because we truly enjoy living in the Reservation and desire to see the homes in our community maintained.
