The home of Cliff & Gigi Adams at 1206 Osage is recognized as the June, 2013 Yard of the Month. The Adams provided the following:
We are honored to be recognized as Yard of the Month for June. We have lived in the Reservation since 1985 and lived originally around the corner on Glen Cove. We remember taking walks and seeing the original owner battle keeping this yard grassy and green. We fought the same battle, without much success for 20 years! This past spring we took some radical steps to make some much needed improvements. We put in a sprinkler system; never underestimate the power of water ( like we did). We put in a new driveway, a new brick sidewalk and we have started a new plan to landscape the front yard and back. We appreciate the kind encouragement of our neighbors. I think we got this award for “most improved yard” in the neighborhood…..but will take it;)
