The Annual Meeting of the Reservation Neighborhood Association was held at Mohawk Elementary as planned Sunday, Oct 23rd at 4:00pm. City Manager Dan Johnson was the featured speaker. Also attending were Mayor Pro-tem Mark Solomon, our Councilman Scott Dunn, and Councilman Steve Mitchell, as well as RISD Board Member Kristen Kunhe.
Dan Johnson gave a report about the many new things happening in the City and then answered questions from the audience.
After these presentations the RNA annual meeting was called to order by LaRuth Morrow, President. The treasurer’s report shows that we are in very good financial position. Sol Stein was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his 5 years as Treasurer. Also recognized were Block Captains Suzanne Larkin, Jim and Mary Niven, and Jessica Denney for their outstanding performance in achieving record membership on their blocks.
Election for the coming year were unanimous with LaRuth Morrow, President, Jay Jolly, Vice President, Pamela Karnavas, Secretary, and Jim Ball, Treasurer, elected for 2017.
